Hi, I am stuck, made an outline but haven't seen the magazines I included in it. How do you request a copy from the editor. Do you send money and a returned stamp envelope or just a request?

You send the money and request to the magazine but not to an editor. It's handled in the mail room, I think. You should check the magazine's website as some tell you. Also...my experience with sample copies is that they take a month of more to come. You might want to do your market study based on websites at this point...many times they have sample content online.
