I got my invitation to the advanced course. I am not ready to enroll at this time. Do I need to respond, or can I just wait until I am ready and enroll then?

Thanks!!!!

You can wait and enroll when you're ready. No need to respond.

OK, so I didn't respond yet, but I have gotten an email, a second letter, and phone calls. I did tell the woman over the phone that I can't do the course now, but I still got a letter after that. I really don't want to see the ICL spend a lot of time and money repeatedly inviting me to take the course. Should I call them to talk to them, or will they keep contacting me anyway?

They'll keep sending you letters, every few months (4, 5, 6 months? I don't remember), sometimes with different instructors assigned.

You could call them and just thank them for the info. Then ask them to make a note in your records that you will get hold of them when you want to do the course. Also, please stop sending info until you request it. I did that a while ago, and they haven't sent anything regarding what I had contacted them for.

I hope you guys don't mind if I chime in
I have been through the basic course and I am half way through the advanced course with ICL, I seem to keep getting a "test packet" in the mail to submit for the book course with Longridge.
I am wondering if anyone has taken this course and how did you like it?
I'm also curious about how many differnet courses are there?

Thanks

They have called me a few times and apparently there is a package in the mail ... we had a mail strike so my mail is only now starting to catch up.  I also received an email.  I don't think I'm ready financially for the advanced course just yet, but I am wondering about either Pipeline to Publication or gee, wht was the name of the other course.  I forget now.  But both were cheaper than the Advanced Course.  Has anyone taken those other courses (ya know, the ones you get in your envelopes with your marked assignments) and could tell me more about them?
