I got my second assigment back. In a couple areas my instructor says something I am not sure what it means.

It looks like a circle with See MY 6h and one with 6u.

Please help.

Is this a snail mail sub or e-mail? If it's snail mail, has the instructor made any notes anywhere on the manuscript? They may have written something like 6h Rather change this to .......  or whatever.

If its e-mail, there may be notes down the right side of the page. Otherwise Jan may know, or even someone else. Its a while since I did the course.

Thanks for the reply. It is snail mail. There is a note she wrote right above each if these markings. If she is referring to the note then I have no problem. If not I have no idea what she means.

It is normally the note. Check the notes on the ms, and your instructors letter. If that doesn't help, wait for someone like Jan to read this thread. I'm sure she'll be able to help.

I haven't a clue. Maybe it means her handwriting is horrendous. Check to see if something in the letter relates to the note on the manuscript, usually when I say "see my..." anything, I'm refering to the letter. Of course, it might also be the "hand out" or thing she wants you to read...one might refer to that. So check the bottom of the letter to see if she's recommending you go read something at the student center.
