Hello.  I am thinking about taking the Advanced class for short stories and articles. I am wondering if that program will include picture books or is it mainly for magazines?

The instructor I am offered is Heather Klassen. Has anyone worked with her before? I would love some feedback  Smiley

Thanks everyone!

The course covers short stories and articles. However, your instructor has considerable leeway in changing assignments to fit your needs. You could send a letter with your first Assignment, explaining that your primary interest is picture books and that you'd like to use some of the assignments for picture books. If your story skills are up to it, she almost certainly will be fine with that.

Thank you so much! I will do that.

I am curious, are there other advanced courses?
