Just a heads up -- Comcast and Roadrunner has been blocking Institute email. This means you won't get your enews (probably) if you have a Comcast or Roadrunner email address. But then, you probably didn't get it last week either. At any rate, if you use Comcast or Roadrunner, you might consider creating an online email account somewhere to use for ICL mail.

I have roadrunner an am getting it fine. Anyone having trouble getting the newsletter, let me know your email address, I will do an autoforward, that has solved problems in the past.

Fascinating. Do we have anyone here with Comcast who got their enews okay last week?

Does anyone know how I can make it so I don't have to scroll left-to-right to read the newsletter? I belatedly realized that I've been skipping through it, especially the longer articles, and not enjoying it as much because I don't like having to scroll back and forth to read the ends of the lines.

I thought maybe it was my browser, but I looked back (yes, I save them all  Grin ) and it was fine until the end of August--the newsletters then, like other emails, adjusted to fit the size of the window open in my browser..

I can read them without scrolling if I go to "print message" to put the newsletter in its own window, make it go "full screen," and then cancel the printing, but is there an easier way?

Well, thanks for answering, Jan... I will keep muddling along, and maybe someone will have an idea about settings I can adjust or something!

Kate,
I've checked every issue I have. They all wrap text to fit screen, so there is no need to scroll left or right.

(I am using Microsoft Outlook (Office Standard Version)

What Mac Email Softwhare do you use? If same as Linda's, I'll find out why is is doing it...

Thanks, Hardt. It's Firefox 3.6.10; I don't use a separate email program. (All my email addresses are internet-based, like gmail.) I just had an idea--I'll forward an issue to my gmail address and see if that fixes it.

ETA: Yes, well--just the act of clicking on "forward" straightened it out and made it fit my screen, so that's a very, very easy fix. I'll just remember to do that next week.

Kate, Jan is okay. She's had no internet since Tuesday, and the e-news should be out soon. Smiley
