Yaya, I wish I could conquer the world! LOL! I would for sure get rid of all the bad stuff in it! Thanks for the vote of confidence and thanks for having faith in me. Blessings to you!

E,

     Haven't you ever heard the song, "Tiger By The Tail"?  I think that's the one I'm thinking of.  Anyway, we've got a tiger by the tail and we're gonna' win.  Its in the stars, don'tcha' know?  Besides, there's another cliche':  The world is our oyster.  Now, let's go searching for pearls.  You can conquer the world.  I have an idea that with the friendships we are making on the boards, we are becoming an unwavering force.  As Bob The Builder says, "Can We Do It?  Yes, We Can!"  He's not the only one who can do it, you know?  We can do it!

Hi Yaya, this is the only tiger by the tail song I know:

(By Buck Owens)

I've Got A Tiger By The Tail, it's plain to see;
I won't be much when you get thru' with me.
Well, I'm a losing weight and a turnin' mighty pale.
Looks like I've Got A Tiger By The Tail.

Well, I thought the day I met you, you were meek as a lamb;
Just the kind to fit my dreams and plans.
But now, the pace we're livin' takes the wind from my sails
And it looks like I've Got A Tiger By The Tail.

(chorus)

Well, ev'ry night you drag me where the bright lights are found;
There ain't no way to slow you down
I'm as 'bout as helpless as a leaf in a gale;
And it looks like I've Got A Tiger By The Tail.

(chorus)

Is that the one you mean?

Yaya, I've never heard that song. How does it go? I agree with you 100% we are becoming an unwavering force through our friendships on here! We can conquer the world day by day! I think it's the small things we do that can make a world a difference! What do you think? Yes, we can do it!

     Yes, Sandy, that is the song I mean.  Thanks for posting it.  I don't think I ever knew all of the words before, though.  It just always struck me as being a message that we have the world by the tail and all we have to do is hang on and we can overcome anything we are faced with.  Interestingly, it seems to be more of a love song than anything else.  I never realized that, before.  Mostly, I do listen to the words and messages in songs.  I wonder how I missed that one?  Thanks, again for posting it.

no problem Yaya.  Lol I remember the song from HeeHaw reruns among other things.  My parents were big country fans when I was really young and it's one I remember from before I got into my own music.  Strangely I am back to country more than anything else though.

Anyway, I was saying that because I knew it was love song, that's why I liked it as a little girl.. Love was a good thing..

Sandy,

     Its a good song.  Its just not quite what I thought it was.  I like country music, too.  And Oldie Golies and a lot of other kinds of music, as well.
