Hello, all,

This is just a friendly reminder that tomorrow's February 1st interview guest is ICL member Irene Roth. She's an academic writer bridging into the children's writing field.

Wednesday, I'll be sitting down with Greg Neri, filmmaker, writer, entrepreneur, who's writing graphic novels now for reluctant boy teen readers, especially of the inner city. Be sure to stop by if you want to find out how one man made a difference.

Friday, I'll have Quill of BPC fame in the visitor's chair. We're going to talk about many things writing, acting, playing. It looks to be a good one, too.

I hope everyone will drop in to read, question, comment and just plain enjoy themselves. Here's hoping to see you there.

Oh wow, what a great lineup, Clauds! You are one busy lady.
I'll be sure to check it out, and I can't wait to hear what Quill has to say.
Tell him we said hi, will you please? Smiley

See you there!

Thanks, Londy.

Now, for those interested, Part 2 of the Stephen "Quill" Eliasson interview runs today. It was just to good and too long to be confined to only one day.

Next week's line up is as follows:

Monday - David Macinnis Gill, children's writer, writer's writer, teacher, speaker.

Tuesday - Billy Burgess - emerging children's writer with award-winning stories in such mags as SFC

Friday - Simon Rose - one of our own children's writers, instructor, who talks about a new project a bit off the beaten trail.

I hope everyone can drop by for a peek and pull up a chair, take it all in, and leave comments to let these writers know that you appreciate their sharing their time and their experience with the readers.

See y'all in space.

Clauds, I don't know how you keep up this pace and quality.  You are one amazing woman.

Um... Can we say, other things get shoved to the side until the wee hours of the night. I have to admit that things are picking up.

And I'm glad that you think there is quality involved. Mostly, it all comes from sheer curiosity. I want to know what other writers struggle with, how they make their choices, what are their deciding factors. That's my motivator.

I hope everyone has has an opportunity to read my interviews this week with YA "steampunk" author Arthur Slade on Tuesday and illustrator Dawn Phillips on Thursday. I think you'll enjoy each of them.

Next Tuesday will be an interview with our own Angelia Almos. I know everyone will want to be there for that.

Thank you all.

This week should interest all on the WR.

I'll be doing a two-parter with Angelia Almos of our group. She's talking about novels, screenplays, websites and all sorts of interesting tidbits.

If you get a moment, drop by my blog and take a gander at one of our own and then come on over on Thursday to see the second part of the interview.

Til then, adios.
