Brenda, it's free. Kelly, that depends on what you sign up for--there are lots of workshops, with handouts available ahead of time. I didn't do it last year, but there used to be some communication via chat and some via bulletin boards. Most of the publishers participating seemed to be from very small, independent presses, or e-book publishers and the like, though that may have changed...
