Just letting everyone know--letting the world know--I still plan on finishing this writing course. I gave my wife my kidney sept. 6, 2011 and watched lots of TV and read a little and wrote lots on facebook and still have the passion for writing. I have my story completed (it's a soccer story about a kid who is very reluctant to kick/share the ball with the goofy kid who is standing right in front of the goal. When he realizes, the goofy kid suffered from the same problem he currently has). Time got away from me and a disease called--not applying myself to task and concentrating--attacked me--I was defenseless.

I think that giving your wife a kidney will give you a "pass" for a long time.  What a wonderful and generous thing to do!!

Hey, Carlos... I remember you! What a wonderful thing you did for your wife; I hope you're both feeling healthy and strong now.

I'm glad you and your wife are well. Good luck with the course, and take care of both of you!
