Did anyone else log in for the Writers Digest free workshop today? Thought it was pretty good. I have considered these usually fee based online webinars and when the free one came about I tried it.  Worked well amd great info for a newbie like me who feels overwhelmed by the whole publishing scene. May register for the picture book workshop going on this Thursday. Got some Christmas money from Mom burning a hole in my pocket and what better way to spend it.

Here it is, oh stripey-one: http://www.writersdigestshop.com/product/picture-book-craft-intensive-webinar?r=wdukrnl011012-feature-webinar&lid=wdukrnl011012-feature-webinarf&et_mid=533387&rid=3107486

It's $89 for a 90-minute webinar plus a PB critique by Mary Kole of the Andrea Brown Agency.

Hi, Oranju, I see you there... *wavewavewave*

I really wanted to do it but had another commitment today.  Did anyone do the PB webinar today at WD?

"wavewavewave nodnodnod" I see you too Kate, Turnip, and Jack Rabbit. Unfortunately I don't see Rosco, any word?

Now that's the most Orangu has said in ages.

Thanks for the link. I got to it too late. It said the page I was looking for didn't exist.

So I got to thinking, if it doesn't exist than how can I be thinking about it? Am I like a "creator" like an "inventor" like a "mime trapped inside a plastic square"?" so I decided to stop thinking.

Thanks for the link though. Oh, and I put two quote marks because I wasn't sure which side of the question mark they went on. Besides I was feeling generous.

But, Miranda to answer your question, I did not make it to PB webinar today.

I did. It was a great 90 minutes...I guess that comes out to about a dollar a minute but I think it was well worth it to me, especially as a newbie. It was very comprhensive and I'm excited about the critique opportunity. Presenter had great wealth of experience to share as an agent and advice seemed priceless.
Only problem is I did the free one earlier this week and now this one and my pea brain is overwhelmed. Luckily you get access to the recorded webinar for a period of time after the live event.

I'm glad it worked well for you then, Seven. It's nice you can listen to it again.

That's a real "Thanks Mom" hey?
